A Footnote

This blog follows the progress of our hapless protagonist, the Phantom, as she nears the end (or at least the middle) of the editing process. As we tune into her story, she has nearly finished the (8-billionth) draft of her current novel-in-progress. All of the words on the page are beginning to look the same to her, every sentence structure repeats itself far too many times, and she is starting to realize she has a strange fixation with talking too much about people's lips.
Will finishing the next two (or three, or ten) drafts finally drive her over the edge? Or will she manage to produce a decent enough draft at last? Stay tuned to find out!
